Union Madereros's Conrado Osorio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Franco. Reynaldo Franco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Maximino Endura hit a great ball. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Reynaldo Franco got control of the ball when Adrian Selatse tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Osorio in the 35th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Reynaldo Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Conrado Osorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Matorrales's Reynaldo Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Atlético Matorrales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Union Madereros the free kick. Reynaldo Franco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Dep. Union Madereros's Conrado Osorio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Franco should have stopped the shot. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Franco should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
