The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Inge during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Iker Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as EL PEPO FC's Rafael Clodio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Montel. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Policarpio got free with Narciso Montel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Boniel having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Clodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 94th minute, Iker Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave EL PEPO FC a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isaac Tiso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel. 3-1.
