Andres Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Constantino Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Michael in the 9th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Constantino Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Michael in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Michael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Elija was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Lázaro Michael made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yalapa's Constantino Elija tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Aurelio Aztore got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Lázaro Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Elija was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 23rd play minutes Lázaro Michael shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Constantino Elija and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Michael in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Elija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Lázaro Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Leandro Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Michael came free, but Constantino Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Luisito Atauri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celedonio Nataniel. Luisito Atauri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 39 minutes into the game, Aurelio Aztore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yalapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Branco FC the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Aztore to maneuver through the defense. When Vicente Weterio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Weterio couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Lázaro Michael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Elija. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Elija should have stopped the shot. The Yalapa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Branco FC were winning 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Michael made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Michael in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Elija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goalkeeper Constantino Elija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Michael. Gregorio Valiente hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Andres Peru scored 2-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Nataniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Michael got free with Constantino Elija in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Aurelio Aztore got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Branco FC's Vicente Weterio tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lázaro Michael in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Constantino Elija, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lázaro Michaels short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Constantino Elija to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Branco FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
