Yalapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celtic FC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Aztore to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Yalapa's Leonides Gutxi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonides Gutxi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yalapa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Gutxi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Constantino Elija had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Luisito Olo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luciano Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robustiano Eyague. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute of the match Luisito Olo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Elija showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aurelio Aztore hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goalkeeper Constantino Elija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Olo. After 41 minutes of play, Celtic FC's Luisito Olo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Elija was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robustiano Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Olo was the one to do the kick off. Yalapa's Constantino Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Olo in the 53rd minute of play. Cirilo Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lisandro Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Lorenzo Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Luciano Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Lisandro Etxepare got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Luisito Olo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalapa's Constantino Elija was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Ramon Salvadore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtic FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 87 minutes of play, Yalapa's Pedro Urbasa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Eyague was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Ramon Salvadore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Elija. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Elija should have stopped the shot. Constantino Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Salvadore in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Ramon Salvadore notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Yalapa's Constantino Elija. Constantino Elija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yalapa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
