The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Franco during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club de la Serpiente's Freddy Franco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The EL PEPO FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when EL PEPO FC's Camilo Policarpio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Celso Inge hit a great ball. When Severino Di Giovanni came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Club de la Serpiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Di Giovanni couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Patxi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Patxi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Melquiades Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Rafael Clodio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Cayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 32nd match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Inge to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Camilo Policarpio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Santo Cayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Ruperto Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Di Giovanni took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Boniel. Ezequiel Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Celso Inge hit a great ball. Rafael Clodio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Santo Cayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL PEPO FC. EL PEPO FC's Isaac Tiso was substituted for Denis Guerrero. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Santo Cayo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Denis Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club de la Serpiente's protests and gave Denis Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tomás Satordi hit a great ball. Isaac Tiso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Boniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Di Giovanni's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Ruperto Madaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Madaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
