Ezequiel Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ezequiel Ieltxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Ieltxu ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Raul Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Florencio Bidari made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Ezequiel Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Augusto Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Florencio Bidari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Shepherd.
