The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Gaitan during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Beltxe in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Aztore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Augusto Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Aztore. gutierrez sport club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alejandro George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Jonas Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The gutierrez sport club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Aztore should have stopped the shot. Elias Tiniebra hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Ramond was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Ihintza's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Ihintza helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes gutierrez sport club got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Ihintza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro George in the 71st minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Roman Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Ramond got free with Roman Aztore in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Gaitan in the 79th minute of play forced gutierrez sport club's goalkeeper Roman Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in gutierrez sport club's zone, Jonas Beltxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Aztore came out of the goal and Jonas Beltxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Adolfo Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alejandro George charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro George the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejandro George kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in gutierrez sport club's zone, Adolfo Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Aztore came out of the goal and Adolfo Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Villa Mitre left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than gutierrez sport club.
