To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Aimar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Jax in the 35th minute. With a little luck, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Bernabe Aimar got control of the ball when Mariano Jax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Aimar having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Gaitan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernabe Aimar. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Pascual Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Jax made a kick off. Mariano Jax struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bernabe Aimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Mitre. When Jonas Endira came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the RCD CARABANCHEL SAD fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Remigio Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot.
