In the 3rd minute, Emanuel Gasteiz made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Fagildo. Rincón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ignacio Mundo's late challenge caught a Devoto club social's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Mundo helped the player get up and apologised. Ignacio Mundo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Rincón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Frederik to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Cordero. Devoto club social's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24th minute Rosendo Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Emanuel Gasteiz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rincón's Bartolo Fagildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ignado. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute Emanuel Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Rincón:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Devoto club social:s goal. In the 66th match minute, Rincón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mundo to maneuver through the defense. When Rincón's Rosendo Frederik in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devoto club social's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Rincón's Hilario Matteo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ignacio Mundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Cordero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Mundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hugo Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devoto club social's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
