In the 6th minute, Guido Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Clemente Bingen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Gilberto Guerrero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Astor Teofilio to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Gasoleros FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lucas Burutzagi hit a great ball. Donato Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Olando during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gasoleros FC booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Isaac Peruanton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Astor Teofilio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 minutes, Clemente Bingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Lanus and the Gasoleros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Bingen. Eleuterio Beliran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Astor Teofilio made a huge save. In the 29th minute Gilberto Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Olando hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gasoleros FC's Jeronimo Blasi got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Lanus's Eustacio Giraldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Eyague made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Gaizkine to make the kick off. Donato Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Guerrero in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Gasoleros FC's Donato Eyague got control of the ball when Eustacio Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Teofilio came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Gasoleros FC's Eleuterio Beliran. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Beliran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gasoleros FC's Donato Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gasoleros FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Gasoleros FC's goalkeeper Donato Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Giraldo. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Diego Montae hit a great ball. Gilberto Guerrero's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Lanus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Guerrero hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Andres Gaizkine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Eyague came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Gaizkine slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Andres Gaizkine got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Gasoleros FC's Isaac Peruanton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Teofilio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 93rd minute Isaac Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Andres Gaizkine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Eyague. The goal made the score 4-3. Club Atletico Lanus's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gasoleros FC had won, even though Club Atletico Lanus had held more of the ball.
