Ernesto Urtsua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Lizer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Urtsua slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Fausto Urbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Muc came out of the goal and Fausto Urbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes, Jeronimo Solustiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the LOS MENTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great ball. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Urbes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ernesto Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Haroldo Frutos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Luis Ubelteso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Muc. Maravilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Ubelteso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ernesto Urtsua made the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Arlo. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Tiburcio Domiku got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Cornelio Arlo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Prospero Muc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Ubelteso in the 75th minute. Maravilla's Cornelio Arlo got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Cornelio Arlo off the ground. LOS MENTI's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Maravilla had won, even though LOS MENTI had held more of the ball.
