If Fulgencio Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Osos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Prospero Muc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Haroldo Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Prospero Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Cebollitas F.C.'s Candido Oso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fulgencio Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cebollitas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Fernanco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Nicasio Quinton got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes in the game Eusebio Loramendi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Candido Ramos. In the 45th minute Enzo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cebollitas F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maravilla were winning 0-1.

Enzo Martinez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Eriberto Enmanuel 72 minutes into the match. Eriberto Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Frutos to maneuver through the defense. The excitement rose when Cebollitas F.C.'s Fulgencio Fernanco after 83 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Maravilla's goalkeeper to hold.
