After 13 minutes of play, Los Diablos Rojos's Robustiano Guzman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Aureliano Javiero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Enzo Cordarrell got a free kick in the 21st minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Oalo in the 28th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Melquiades Valentine in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Hernan Raitin. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Maximino Calvet got a free kick in the 38th minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Oalo in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Los Diablos Rojos booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Diablos Rojos were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Juvenal to make the kick off. Higinio Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Romulo Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Siro Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Etor hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Israel Bertol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos Rojos the free kick. 61 minutes into the game, one of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Higinio Gonzales, was totally fooled by Los Diablos Rojos's Melquiades Valentine, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Oalo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicanor Oalo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Rigoberto Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafin Lander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Gonzales. That made the score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 85th play minute Serafin Lander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Higinio Gonzales. 0-4. In the 89th minute, Aureliano Javiero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicanor Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Aureliano Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Javiero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Jatsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Diablos Rojos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
