The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Robustiano Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Domínguez AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Txilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Errapel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Flavio Lucila got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Robustiano Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Caitano in the 13th minute. Mateo Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Baraquiel in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ivan Caitano made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Errapel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Paz was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Lixandro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Veronica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melquiades Paz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Teobaldo Baraquiel hit a great ball. Jonathan Errapel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 73rd minute, Teobaldo Baraquiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Jeronimo Argenis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Ivan Caitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domínguez AFC and the Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card.
