The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayetano Galtero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauro Bastia. Leones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Haze Fc's Arnoldo Garci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ambrosio Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Bertin in the 92nd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Nuno in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Oliverio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Bastia having to interfere. The Leones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Haze Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
