A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alejo Aimar hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Expresso Ranelagh's Bruno Cordarin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filomeno Manni. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Fraco was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Leones FC's Jacobo Cresencio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Savion was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Fraco in the 61st minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Eutor in the 63rd minute of play.
