Spectators: 146 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) After 2 minutes, Omar Selatse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ernestina FC and the Ascacibar-Pérez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Omar Selatse got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Marcelino Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Ciano came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ascacibar-Pérez's Pedro Frascuelo. But to his dismay, Pedro Frascuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicasio Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Endira having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. Amador Maurino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ladislao Endira. Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Estevez in the 41st minute of play. Ernestina FC were furious when Santiago Telo was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ernestina FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Eleuterio Ciano had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Augusto Teyo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nicasio Aballe might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Endira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Aballe ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Frascuelo to make the kick off. Eleuterio Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Frascuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ascacibar-Pérez's Ladislao Endira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Aballe in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Ernestina FC booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nicasio Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ernestina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Aballe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 61 minutes, Nicasio Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Nicasio Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Frascuelo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Ascacibar-Pérez got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Montay. The Ernestina FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ascacibar-Pérez's performance. The match ended with a win for Ascacibar-Pérez.
