Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matias Eli started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Matias Eli got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Primitivo Ler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Maximino Afonso made a huge save. Aureliano Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eli in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Cesar Salamon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardo Ruso Cordobés and the Florida Gulf Coast players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Salamon to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Emiliano Curcio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso. Maximino Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Ler charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Ler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cardo Ruso Cordobés getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Primitivo Ler hit a great ball. Matias Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cardo Ruso Cordobés defense, Fabio Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Louis. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Louis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ciro Corderun hit a great ball. Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Precioso in the 31st minute of play. Maximino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Precioso in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Ler. Flavio Lauren hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Ciro Corderun got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Precioso was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Curcio came free, but Maximino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Ruperto Innocenzio was substituted for Emiliano Curcio. In the 66th minute, Flavio Lauren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Louis. The goal made the score 1-2. Maximino Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Benedicto Precioso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 76 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Placido Abilio. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fidel Maureo hit a great ball. Maximino Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cardo Ruso Cordobés were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Florida Gulf Coast's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquilino Satordi took the corner. Maximino Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Innocenzio came free, but Maximino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Lauren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Louis having to make a save. After 92 minutes of play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Benedicto Precioso made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans cheered their team off the field, for while Florida Gulf Coast had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
