Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uriel Ihintza started the match with the kick off. Sixto Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mechita F.C's Hugo Abaurre got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Manny in the 10th minute of play forced Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Marciano Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mechita F.C's Uriel Ihintza in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Florencio Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Florencio Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Florencio Txeru hit a great ball. Vicente Beliran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Sasoin in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Roldan to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vicente Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Manny to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Sasoin in the 53rd minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Vicente Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when Mechita F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sixto Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, one of CF Scalonetos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF Scalonetos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Sasoin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Beliran saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. Eustacio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vicente Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Ignacio Roldan got a free kick in the 75th minute. CF Scalonetos's Vicente Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Sasoin in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mechita F.C's Gilberto Banegas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Vicente Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. CF Scalonetos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mechita F.C had controlled the match.
