The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Saturnino Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goalkeeper Santo Tohias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Precioso. Desiderio Servando took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Louis. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Ruben Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Profecías de Parravicini's protests and gave Ruben Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cardo Ruso Cordobés booed when Profecías de Parravicini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Domenec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ceferino Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Santo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Domenec took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Tohias. Enrique Gumaro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Benedicto Precioso struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Santo Tohias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. Profecías de Parravicini's Santo Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Precioso in the 96th minute of play. After 98 played minutes Profecías de Parravicini got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Gumaro. For all the effort they put into the match, the Profecías de Parravicini players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
