Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uriel Ihintza started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Mechita F.C booed when Rocky Balboa Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mechita F.C's Emiliano Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Quinto in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Mechita F.C booed when Rocky Balboa Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Sasoin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mechita F.C defense, Amancio Criston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Ponc. The Mechita F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Ponc should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Ihintza in the 30th minute of the match. Rocky Balboa Team's Carlos Quinto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Amancio Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocky Balboa Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Prospero Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Rocky Balboa Team booed when Mechita F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Carlos Quinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Rocky Balboa Team got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Cristofol. The crowd rose to their feet as Rocky Balboa Team's Amancio Criston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiliano Ponc. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Amancio Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rocky Balboa Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Ponc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Aballe's late challenge caught a Rocky Balboa Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Aballe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Sergio Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mechita F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascual Nofre was slow to take the kick. During this time Rocky Balboa Team's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Cirilo Abilio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match was over Rocky Balboa Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mechita F.C throughout the match.
