With an all-out effort, El Stradivarius's Robustiano Ayala threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramon Urbez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez's Maximiliano Berenguer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Melchor Medero in the 23 minute of the game. Horacio Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Ayala having to interfere. Cirilo Escobar made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Saul Gagriel. Marciano Calisto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez booed when El Stradivarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maximiliano Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez's protests and gave Maximiliano Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Gonsalve was the one to do the kick off. If Horacio Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Pablo Francesco got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alejandro Mikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Argoitz in the 61st minute of play. When El Stradivarius's Ramon Urbez in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
