Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erubiel Garaile took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Enzo FC's Gualterio Romo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's Prospero Ekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Ospetsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match Erubiel Garaile climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Ubaldo Silvanito. 10 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Ekhi came free, but Celso Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alfonso Etxatxu fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newells Old Boys's protests and gave Alfonso Etxatxu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alfonso Etxatxu hit a great ball. If Erubiel Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo FC's Erubiel Garaile got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Etxatxu. A hard shot 31 in the game by Erubiel Garaile from a close distance when the talented Ubaldo Silvanito managed to make a qualified save. Newells Old Boys's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute, Benjamin Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newells Old Boys's Ubaldo Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Mambru in the 34th minute of play. Enzo Mambru might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Silvanito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Mambru ran back to his position shaking his head. Erubiel Garaile took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Silvanito. Ubaldo Silvanito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ubaldo Silvanito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Enzo FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Justo Ignatius hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Urti to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Amador Urti took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Celso Ospetsu to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Garaile in the 56th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Ubaldo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newells Old Boys's zone, Enzo Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Silvanito came out of the goal and Enzo Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erubiel Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Enzo FC's Gregorio Delfino got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enzo FC's goalkeeper Celso Ospetsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enzo Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Silvanito having to interfere. Ubaldo Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Garaile in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Gregorio Delfino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newells Old Boys's Ubaldo Silvanito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Erubiel Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
