Feliberto Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Abeita having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Paublo in the 12th minute of play forced Sabaleros F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruben Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Delmiro Lizar made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Abeita. Sabaleros F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Casomiro was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Delmiro Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arthur Morgan´s Club and the Sabaleros F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delmiro Lizar hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Leonel Abilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arthur Morgan´s Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabaleros F.C. the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Morgan´s Club's Feliberto Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Abeita. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. 75 minutes into the match, Sabaleros F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruben Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Paublo. Ruben Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Lizar in the 76th minute. Rodrigo Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Rodrigo Paublo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Abeita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 88th minute Feliberto Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Abeita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Palermo's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Reynaldo Sansone's late challenge caught a Arthur Morgan´s Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. Ruben Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Palermo in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th match minute, Sabaleros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Fidele to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Morgan´s Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
