Astor Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Aureo made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Isaias Benvido sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Orixe had several of the Deportivo Messina's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Astor Aureo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Clemente Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Domingues who took care of the corner kick. After 32 played minutes, Deportivo Messina's Gabriel Donzel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Astigar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Messina reached it. Clemente Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Benvido took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Aureo. Astor Aureo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Isaias Benvido in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Astor Aureo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Benvido was the one to do the kick off. If Hugo Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Gustavo Orixe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Messina's Astor Aureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Astigar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcos Lucila. After 60 played minutes Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Abeijon. A collision led to Deportivo Messina getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hugo Tuste hit a great ball. Paulo Mancio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Aureo. Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Clemente Astigar managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Deportivo Messina's Amancio Anaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Benvido in the 65th minute of play forced Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper Astor Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
