Pipo Gorosito hit a great ball. Eugenio Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Chuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Jeremias Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Chuse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenio Paz. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Indartsu in the 41st minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Eugenio Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
