Feliciano Darien might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Orland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Darien ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Mergildo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Agustin Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Kauldi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Orland. Mariano Orland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Gregorio Tello fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigres Ñacuñán FC's protests and gave Gregorio Tello a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tigres Ñacuñán FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Tigres Ñacuñán FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelio Gurutz in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Agustin Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirius Dog's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Kauldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Orland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Cesar Weterio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Feliciano Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Agustin Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Darien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moises Bidari hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mariano Orland made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Feliciano Darien sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Agustin Kauldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Orland was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 77 minutes Tigres Ñacuñán FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimiro Aguirre who took care of the corner kick. Cornelio Cordaro made a great header on Sirius Dog's corner, it was just that Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Mariano Orland managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 89th minute of the match Aurelio Gurutz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Pello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerardo Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agustin Kauldi 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 96th match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sirius Dog eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
