Mariano Orland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Santos Uhin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Weterio in the 11th minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Santos Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Abel Arano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, one of Tigres Ñacuñán FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Venezia FC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santos Ferdinand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Abel Arano. 0-1. Albino Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Arano having to interfere. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Chap was the one to do the kick off. Abel Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Venezia FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
