Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaac Marcones kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Chucho came free, but Uriel Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berreta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Isaac Marcones scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Panpili, making the score, 1-0. Dante Joseph's late challenge caught a Velez Sarsfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Joseph helped the player get up and apologised. Saverio Hulberto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Isaac Marcones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Carmelo Panpili made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Cristo Eguen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Carmelo Panpili to make any attempt to save it. Carmelo Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Eguen in the 21st minute. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Gasteiz in the 25th minute of play. Uriel Raymon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Cortez went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Uriel Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Chucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Cortez in the 36th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Cortez in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carmelo Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jose Chucho made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Genaro Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Chucho got free with Uriel Raymon in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmelo Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Marcones in the 61st minute of play. Rodolfo Flores lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 71st minute, one of Velez Sarsfield:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Velez Sarsfield. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Gasteiz in the 75th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Berreta getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Guaberto Miliano hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Cristo Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Carmelo Panpili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Velez Sarsfield were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Berreta for a fine match.
