Victoriano Acosta's late challenge caught a Trinchera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Acosta helped the player get up and apologised. Victoriano Acosta hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Ciriaco Dolcet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Salvador Nataniel hit a great ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Rene Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Tristan having to make a save. Trinchera FC's Virgilio Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Matthew in the 45th minute of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Gaston Matthew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinchera FC's Virgilio Pietro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Matthew to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Dolcet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Tristan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Cipriano Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Rene Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Dolcet's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gabriel Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Justo Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Matthew in the 83rd minute of play. Gaston Matthew struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Virgilio Pietro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE. Gaston Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pietro having to interfere. Salvador Nataniel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Trinchera FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
