With a left leg Rene Goren saved chacarita juniors from getting behind. Isidro Ordono hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Chale in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidro Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Chale in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Orozcos booed when chacarita juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. chacarita juniors's Rene Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Erauso in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Chale came free, but Rene Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orozcos's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
