With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Lugo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Balendin saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Alonzo Lugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fidel Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo. But to his dismay, Arturo Acevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Theodore came free, but Fidel Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Lugo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Bruno Balendin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Gerardo Lucila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Barrionuevo skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Ricardo Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Lugo got free with Bruno Balendin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Barrionuevo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Tome went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the game, Placido Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Chusca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUTH THUNDER the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Placido Hernandez got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Ezequiel Leizarraga got a free kick in the 47th minute.
The wind increased when Arturo Acevedo made the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Tome charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Tome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Tome. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Godoy came free, but Fidel Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Theodore during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Arnaldo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Rafael Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Balendin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Guifre's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Placido Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Balendin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Rafael Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Guifre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ricardo Rozarius hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Fidel Barrionuevo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Ricardo Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Fidel Barrionuevo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luisito Eleder. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Fidel Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Santiago Tome sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Arturo Acevedo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Fidel Barrionuevo to make any attempt to save it. The Club Atletico Chusca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SOUTH THUNDER's performance. The match ended with a win for SOUTH THUNDER.
