Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amancio Magdaleno took the kick off in the first half of the match. Danilo Frascuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Paul's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Paul in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Frascuelo saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. Danilo Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Firmo in the 14th minute of play. Florencio Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A.C ALDO BONZI's Raul Casomiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save A.C ALDO BONZI from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eustacio Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Casomiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Iratze struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Danilo Frascuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C ALDO BONZI. Danilo Frascuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Paul's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Herminio Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Paul scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 48 played minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Fernendo. Genaro Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Paul to make the kick off. Raul Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Fernendo in the 55th minute of play. If Erasmo Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A.C ALDO BONZI's Genaro Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Paul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Frascuelo having to make a save. Raul Casomiro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Fernendo. But to his dismay, Erasmo Fernendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Herminio Paul had several of the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Danilo Frascuelo as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Hitz in the 82nd minute of play forced A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Raul Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Erasmo Fernendo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of A.C ALDO BONZI's Raul Casomiro. Raul Casomiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, A.C ALDO BONZI's Danilo Frascuelo threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herminio Paul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raul Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Hitz in the 98th minute of the match. A.C ALDO BONZI were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing NEWELL´S OLD BOYS to leave the ground with a draw.
