The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Locaio was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Aurelio Hitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Costante. Ivan Costante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Aurelio Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's protests and gave Aurelio Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Hitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Fernendo in the 61st minute of play forced Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ's goalkeeper Ivan Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ's Ivan Costante got control of the ball when Erasmo Fernendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jonatan Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Hitz got free with Ivan Costante in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Locaio struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Danilo Frascuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Fernendo in the 84th minute of play forced Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ's goalkeeper Ivan Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amancio Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to NEWELL´S OLD BOYS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mario Uhin hit a great ball. The supporters of Ante Todo Mucha Calma Ψ booed when NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Fernendo in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
