The referee showed Uriel Quintyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 36 minutes into the match, Mateo Pellegrino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Peter. Malvinas Argentinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Pellegrino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leonel Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Erroman in the 41st minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jonas Cordarryl made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Berart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Peter was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Cesar Aurre got a free kick in the 65th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Furia Calamar had played much better football throughout.
