Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Feliberto Shantala took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gonzalo Oso struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Tiburcio Ado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O rey Iván. Teobaldo Aimar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Aimar. Guanacos's Tiburcio Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Abadie in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind O rey Iván's goalkeeper Serafin Haitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Isidoro Baumar got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Paio came free, but Tiburcio Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ramiro Ler fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanacos's protests and gave Ramiro Ler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Ler to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Cesar Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Botello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Guanacos's Robustiano Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Ler kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Robustiano Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Paio made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesar Azeari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiburcio Ado. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. O rey Iván's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luisito Abadie in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, O rey Iván's Gonzalo Oso got a free kick in the 69th minute. Guanacos's Tiburcio Ado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Ado having to interfere. A collision led to O rey Iván getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nicolas Loramendi hit a great ball. Serafin Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aldo Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tiburcio Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guanacos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. O rey Iván were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
