Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Manni in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes RompePiernas FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Policarpio. RompePiernas FC's Saverio Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Suarez in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cuca Trap came free, but Benicio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave RompePiernas FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jose Moise, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru. 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Haroldo Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Quiroga. RompePiernas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Moise in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of RompePiernas FC booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, RompePiernas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Suarez came free, but Saverio Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Cristofol fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abuba Akotonon FC's protests and gave Daniel Cristofol a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Cristofol hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Shepherd made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Saverio Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Abarca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Quiroga having to make a save. Javier Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Saverio Quiroga came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Fulgencio Shepherd. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Shepherd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Abuba Akotonon FC's Haroldo Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Manni in the 70th minute of the match. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Higinio Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Suarez. Thanks to some nice moves Cuca Trap could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Benicio Txeru however easily saved by the left post. After 80 minutes, Domingos Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RompePiernas FC and the Abuba Akotonon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the RompePiernas FC defense, Fulgencio Shepherd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Quiroga. The RompePiernas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Quiroga should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes RompePiernas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Moise. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when RompePiernas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Milton Giménez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abuba Akotonon FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
