Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Cordairo started the match with the kick off. The referee gave Espirillo FC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcos Cordairo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Salmuera CP's Carmelo Nikola. 2-0. In the 12th minute, Marcos Cordairo made a precise shot to the right of Carmelo Nikola. Salmuera CP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Vladimiro Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carmelo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Vincent might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmelo Nikola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Vincent ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th play minute Silvio Vidal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carmelo Nikola. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Antonio Vigil got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Astudillo came free, but Isaac Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With 34 minutes on the clock, Everardo Sein commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Sein to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Paskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Isaac Delfino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Pasqual. Marcos Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carmelo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cordairo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmelo Nikola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Cordairo ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Celestino Pasqual recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Delfino. Celestino Pasqual showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 73rd minute, Anacleto Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Delfino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After 77 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Urbes. When Dario Vincent came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Espirillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Vincent couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Antonio Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillo FC and the Salmuera CP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espirillo FC's Marcos Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Isaac Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espirillo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Salmuera CP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
