The tension between the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and the Fcion C.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ariel Nel had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Lino Sanson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After 13 minutes of play, Fcion C.A.'s Lino Sanson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Bilintx got free with Ariel Nel in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Balesio lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Fcion C.A. booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Ariel Nel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Edgard Enaut took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ariel Nel to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Lino Sanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fcion C.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Lino Sanson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 32nd playminute. Ciriaco Eutropio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciriaco Eutropio got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Edgard Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Fcion C.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Enaut couldn't finish the play. Ariel Nel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Sanson in the 41st minute. When Humberto Beat fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fcion C.A.'s protests and gave Humberto Beat a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 minutes, Valentin Aureo made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fcion C.A.'s Alonzo Tartalo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Bilintx was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Valentin Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Valentin Aureo could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Alonzo Tartalo however easily saved by the left post. Valentin Aureo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Alonzo Tartalo 64 minutes into the match. Ariel Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Bilintx in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Celso Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Lino Sanson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Nel. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Sanson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Jose Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alonzo Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luis Indartsu hit a great ball. Lino Sanson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Nel. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Celestino Sarracino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fcion C.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene the free kick. Celestino Sarracino hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
