Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Vidal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anastasio Arce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Zacarias Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maximiliano Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gavino Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Maximiliano Dalmu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. Godfredo Quinteros's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Leo Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Luke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fabricio Jakobe fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Fabricio Jakobe a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Jakobe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Quinteros in the 34th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Zacarias Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Adrian Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Dalmu in the 43rd minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Gavino Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Ortle was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Norberto Medardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Anastasio Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gaviotas FC's Rodolfo Ursino was substituted for Godfredo Quinteros. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Santiago Oliverio replaced Anastasio Arce. Anastasio Arce hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Gimenez. After 73 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Quinto. Leo Vidal struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gavino Luke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Rose 1979. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gaviotas FC! When Rodolfo Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Ursino couldn't finish the play. The Black Rose 1979 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
