In the 3rd minute, Maximiliano Dalmu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Norberto Medardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Tartalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Fcion C.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Furtado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Mariano Ordono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Rose 1979's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fcion C.A. the free kick. Mariano Ordono hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Leo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alonzo Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Arnulfo Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Leo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Fcion C.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Enaut to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Edgard Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Elvio Bizi got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Leo Vidal made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Black Rose 1979:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fcion C.A.:s goal. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Fcion C.A.'s Lino Sanson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zacarias Abreu. Alonzo Tartalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Vidal in the 62nd minute of the match. Leo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alonzo Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Lino Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Leo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Fcion C.A.'s Celso Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fcion C.A. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
