The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dario Rameriz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ulises Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ulises Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Muno in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Teofilo Etxatxu hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Teofilo Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Maarten Stekelenburg. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Darien in the 28th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulises Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Artemio Ramone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maarten Stekelenburg. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Ramone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Teofilo Etxatxu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Maarten Stekelenburg didn't even have to move. Guido Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ulises Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Ramone in the 39th minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Muno came free, but Ulises Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Paolo Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Bonadona made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Darien got free with Ulises Bastian in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulises Bastian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Darien went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Maarten Stekelenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Maarten Stekelenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Etxatxu in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Emilio Darien got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jose Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Emilio Darien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulises Bastian. That made the score 2-2 after 68 minutes of play. Maarten Stekelenburg came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by AZURDUY F.C.'s Artemio Ramone. But to his dismay, Artemio Ramone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 76th minute Teofilo Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarten Stekelenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Bastian made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bartolo Eate sent off a good shot on target. Albano Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ulises Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paolo Harriet fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Paolo Harriet a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Victorio Rexino got a free kick in the 95th minute.
