The audience was convinced that Agustín Ruberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Baristo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. One of Utopía Muerta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KYRA FC:s goal. Aristides Transito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Maties came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Transito slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. Nereo Piearres's late challenge caught a Utopía Muerta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Piearres helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the match, Narciso Fix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alonzo Baristo. KYRA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Fix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
