NUMBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Bela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Suero in the 39th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Melquiades Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Bembe in the 42nd minute of play. Melquiades Llope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Suero's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Bembe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Perrando was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Bembe in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
