Mateo Serapio charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Serapio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Fernandes's late challenge caught a Chamaicó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Salvador Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Niva might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Breogan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Niva ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Virgilio Sol got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Delmar Vermudo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atletico Los Andes's Melquiades Llope. Melquiades Llope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Mateo Serapio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Llope. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Serapio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Filiberto Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chamaicó's Mateo Serapio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Los Andes's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes's Melquiades Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Serapio in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Ernesto Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the Chamaicó players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Bembe made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chamaicó's Mateo Serapio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Llope. That made the score 0-5 after 59 minutes of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Serapio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Melquiades Llope made a huge save. Virgilio Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Norberto Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Virgilio Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgilio Sol came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Sol couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Virgilio Sol hit a great ball. Delmar Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chamaicó's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
