The supporters of NUMBA booed when Copetonas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Copetonas AFC's Inocencio Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Suero in the 21st minute of play. Lisandro Hondo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Tauro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Remir during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herminio Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Juan Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Copetonas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Tauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Tauro came free, but Juan Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Honorato Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Leonardo Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artemio Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Urritz having to interfere. There was no doubt that NUMBA were the better team. NUMBA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
