Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Abel Colas made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Bortzaioriz in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Guillermo Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pegaso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godfredo Artal was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebrachitos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Godfredo Artal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pegaso's Zeledon Hermon did a great save. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute of the match Godfredo Artal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Hermon skillfully saved the ball. After 25 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Cuarto. Zeledon Hermon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ignacio Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Hermon having to interfere. Guillermo Bortzaioriz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Bortzaioriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Cuarto. Abel Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Artal. After 46 minutes, Julio Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos FC and the Pegaso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Julio Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pegaso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quebrachitos FC were winning 0-1.

Florencio Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Zeledon Hermon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Bortzaioriz in the 53rd minute. Zeledon Hermon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Bortzaioriz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Abel Clodio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Louis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quebrachitos FC's Julio Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Ernesto Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quebrachitos FC's Narciso Montay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zeledon Hermon but with some difficulty. Quebrachitos FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
