The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Eusebio Tohias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milferio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo Quilmes the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th match minute, Milferio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Azeari to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Salvator kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Montes. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Melquiades Azeari hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The long shot by Emanuel Valente in the 17th minute really tested Leonel Montes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 18 minutes of play, Milferio's Albino Vasco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Enekoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Jeronimo Salvator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Tiburcio Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Clemente Ordono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milferio and the Club Sportivo Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute of the match Tiburcio Basajaun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Montes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Club Sportivo Quilmes got a corner. Milferio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Valente ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emanuel Valente made a great header on Club Sportivo Quilmes's corner, it was just that Milferio's Leonel Montes managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee ended the match the Club Sportivo Quilmes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
