The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafin Qwinton hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Teofilo Maiorga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benito Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GERLIROJO Ψ's Gustavo Abadie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Bartoli in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Severo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Esdras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Benito Gonsalve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Maximino Xacintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Esdras came out of the goal and Maximino Xacintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, Dionisio Corderun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the GERLIROJO Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dionisio Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Gomesano came free, but Gustavo Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Vachon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Abelardo Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benjamin Lartaun fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GERLIROJO Ψ's protests and gave Benjamin Lartaun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Benjamin Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Chucho came free, but Gustavo Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Turi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gustavo Abadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Boedo Vengo. After some careless play in the GERLIROJO Ψ defense, Amadeo Gomesano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Abadie. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Abadie should have stopped the shot. Orlando Segio made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gavino Chucho immediately put the ball in play. After 79 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Lartaun. In the 83rd match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Lorien to maneuver through the defense. De Boedo Vengo's Amadeo Gomesano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. De Boedo Vengo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
