Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After 4 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Bartoli. Casimiro Galindo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. GERLIROJO Ψ's Gustavo Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Conrao in the 11th minute of play. Gustavo Abadie came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Marcial Benvido. But to his dismay, Marcial Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Vachon in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When GERLIROJO Ψ's Severo Vachon in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting de Gijón's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Severo Vachon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Ariel Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ariel Urbasa was a little too slow when Saturnino Lia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Gijón's Casimiro Galindo got a free kick in the 40th minute. When GERLIROJO Ψ's Severo Vachon in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting de Gijón's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Lia got free with Ariel Urbasa in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Vachon during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Vachon in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Galindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Abadie made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Rosendo Orixe sent off a good shot on target. Saturnino Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ariel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Vachon in the 66th minute of play. In the 74th minute Severo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angelino Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Benito Gonsalve. If Casimiro Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ariel Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GERLIROJO Ψ's Severo Vachon suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Zenón during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting de Gijón!
